Reflections about the semester.

Hello, everyone!

Today, I have to talk you about a lot of things.

The topic is... REFLECTIONS ABOUT THE SEMESTER! 

This semester have happened good things :). This semester my faculty stopped their activities (we were figthing for our rights!) during two weeks. In addition, I changed my home, where I no longer have to share my room with my brother.

I have achieved many things that I never imagined I could achieve, as they are doing good restorations with amalgam and composite resin in posterior teeth and satisfactorily perform my first temporary incrustation.

In spite of achieving many things, many of these achievements were thanks to effort and sweat, since nothing is achieved at the first attempt and therefore, like most of my colleagues, I experience the frustration of having to intervene several times and not achieve my goal. committed in the same way, however thanks to my perseverance I achieve my tasks.

At the end of this semester it was very sad for me, because I got many achievements thanks to my effort and I was able to learn many things and meet many new people that have helped me overcome all the challenges I have faced.

today I must write to you about my life...

When I was a child, I used to play with my Little brother every day, but that changed when a computer came into my life. It was at that moment when I started to spend less time with my brother and my Friends. I loved playing role-playing games for most of my free time and, unfortunately, that changed because of the less free time I have today. Then, when I was younger (in secondary), I used to be more serious and quiet. But that does not mean that I was unfriendly or less cheerful than I am today, because I have always interacted with honesty, respect and, in many cases, directly with people who want to start a conversation with me. And finally, a big change that appeared after I arrived at the university was the way I see the world, because acquiring that knowledge made me understand better than the people we interact with every day are not just skin and meat, but they are also a network of veins, arteries, nerves, muscles, complex chemical reactions, and many things that can be altered by any disease. Today, I'm going to talk about...

A subject I enjoyed this semester

This semester has been incredible :). My favorite subject is Clinical and Scientific Basis for the Diagnosis I. This subject is really cool! :o 

It includes a lot of topics, as Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Inmunology, and Semiology. My favorite topic is Physiology, because you try to understand the functioning of the human body. 

Physiology is the most incredible topic of Diagnosis I. 

In Physiology, I have studied:

- Respiratory system.

- Renal system.

- Endocrine system.

- Muscular system. 

- Circulatory system. 

The most interesting thing I've studied at Physiology is the functioning of Heart. When the heart is in systole, all the body is irrigated by Aorta; when the heart is in diastole, only the heart is irrigated by coronary arteries. 

I really think that this subject is very interesting :). But, the BEST subject I have had is Anatomical Basis, last year. I studied all parts of the human body, including muscles, arteries, veins, bones, etc. My final mark was 4.7 (I know it is not the best mark, but I really enjoyed that subject).

Today I'm going to write about a website related to my career.


I am currently studying dentistry, which is a health career and therefore many of the decisions I must make must be based on evidence, for this a professional health must have a reliable source of information, a example of this an example of this are pages like scielo, pubmed, crocane, etc

Scielo is an electronic library, with a selected collection of Chilean scientific journals from all areas of knowledge, including health in general and of course to dentistry.
This page has helped me a lot when looking for evidence about different areas since the great feature is that it is in Spanish and therefore much easier to read and understand for me, plus another positive point that has been compared to other scientific libraries is that it provides data closer to reality in Latin America, since it has studies in this area where I will probably end up practicing my dental work all my life.

what are you passionate about?

Mi passion is the anime, for a person who sees a lot of anime and is a true fan of this,

it is possible that you have spent several things in your journey through this hobby.

Usually most people who start in this hobby do so for an unexplainable desire to see those animes you saw in your childhood without knowing they were anime, as they are naruto, dragon ball, one piece, pokemon, where you just focus on remembering and appreciating that which made you tremble as a child when turning on the TV every day at the same time without losing any single chapter.

Then you realize that the anime are not just cartoons but there are a variety of series, so you start to explore new series such as sword art online, jojo's bizarre adventure, code gear, which they usually recommend friends or acquaintances.

After you realize how interesting the anime can be, you begin to explore new series which end and you feel a void, which can only be filled by watching another anime, achieving an infinite cycle in which you feel happy to be.

In this picture, In this photo you can see the moment of my life where I was more proactive and i was more willing to help.
in this photo I meet my friends in a CFG called "magia para una sonrisa", which was aimed at learning various activities between these magic and balloon twisting in order to entertain children who are in hospitals or schools in order to De-stress and make them have a good time, so they forget the stress of living in those environments.
for this time in addition to face my classes at the university every Monday at 7 pm I went to this cfg to learn about this beautiful art, in addition to this some Saturdays participated in trips to hospitals to entertain children or participated helping in acts of magic at the university.
My friends who are with me from time to time accompanied me to this cfg to make me company and have fun together.

Things that catch my attention on the street

Hello!, Today let's talk about the food stalls on the street, there are very good food stalls with nice food that one can enjoy quickly and deliciously, but there are food stalls where the person who makes the food does not wash their hands or attend unpleasantly or slowly.
I have also noticed those annoying people who push or hit the meter to get through without asking permission and then when you try to talk to them they get angry and say it's your fault for being on their way.
if there is something that pleases me are those heroes without cloak that sell things in the street just when you need them, for example on hot days the sellers of ice cream or water that are always there to take advantage of your pain to get some money.

My fav piece of tech

My favorite piece of tech is the computer, because it is very useful.

I got my first computer when i has 8 years old, it was a present in part of my parents and i was very happy. 

I like use the computer to work, play video games like a league of legends, minecraft, habbo, word of warcraft, ragnarok online, and a lot of games in my free time, chat whit my friends to skype, facebook or wahatsapp, make my uptadet about the lastest news about my friends, my program and the world, i also use it to study and make notes about my classes in the university, etc.

I use the computer every day because is is very important in my life and i use that to all, without it i could not keep my studies, have a good comunication with my friends and i'd have to fun whit the tv or go out with my friends.

Why I chose this program

When i was a child, i wanted to be a medic, maybe because a medic can help the other people and cure your conditions, i liked the anatomy, the blood and how the medic makes people happy when he relieves their discomfort.
when i was studing for the PSU, i understood how difficult it is to enter the medical career, so i investigated about other programs and i liked kinesiology, and dentistry, because the two programs looked fun, but i liked more dentistry because the dentist is more independient and he can study a lot of specialty.
for now the program has been very intersting and dificult, but not for everything i have to study, i need to develop abilities to help my patients and this is very dificult.
i would like to work as a dentist in a clinic and study a post title in periodontics, maxillofacial surgery or oral pathology.

My name is fernando javier jorquera molina, i live in santiago of chile, i study dentistry and in this moment i'm coursing the second year of my program.
i was born in 1998 in maipu, but when i was 10 years old, my family moved to independencia, i actually live with my partner and my brother in a little apartament, i studied the secundray in the liceo andres bello in san miguel, i worked a lot to get in univercidad de chile why i wasn't a very good studiant in the school and i had to get a very good points in the PSU.
my father is secundary teacher, he is a very good person and he always help me when i need help, my mother too.
in my free time i like play with my dog, watch anime in my computer and play guitar or piano.
